The Polish startup SiDLY has developed not only a telemedical wristband but also an application and system that enable remote health monitoring for patients. The device is worn on the wrist and, in collaboration with the Telemedicine Center, allows quick emergency responses. Currently, 60,000 people are already using the startup's solution, and now a contract has been signed with one of Poland's leading pharmacy networks.
"From the very beginning, our main goal has been to improve access to high-quality medical services, especially in emergencies. SiDLY is based on three main components: a medical wristband classified as a class IIa medical device, a medical system utilizing AI, and a 24/7 Telemedicine Center," explains Edyta Kocyk, CEO of SiDLY.
SiDLY's technology is distinguished by medical precision and the ability to comprehensively analyze data. The effectiveness of its use in diagnostics and health monitoring is confirmed by the class IIA professional medical device certificate, ensuring the reliability of measurements and results presented.
A Modern Medical Solution
A few years ago, teleconsultations gained popularity. However, modern medicine goes much further, as demonstrated by the SiDLY startup. They developed a telemedical wristband that allows patients' health to be monitored at home. Furthermore, through collaboration with the Telemedicine Center, it responds to sudden health deteriorations.
"The wristband monitors the user's medical parameters, such as heart rate and oxygen saturation. In case of pressing the SOS button, the telecare function notifies our telemedicine center, ensuring a response time of less than 1 minute. Medical rescuers can remotely assess the patient's condition and take appropriate actions – from informing the Emergency Notification Center (112) to providing remote advice, to involving the so-called support network, which is particularly important for seniors," emphasizes the CEO of SiDLY.
The medical sector has been facing many challenges for years. SiDLY's operation is supported by an advanced system utilizing AI and ML. It was developed based on over half a million teleconsultations already analyzed by the company and 358 million medical data points from SiDLY wristbands. It is continuously developed and powered by new user data. SiDLY's integrated approach allows for a better understanding of patients' health behavior patterns and enables the adaptation of therapies.
Important Partnership
The SiDLY startup has announced a partnership with a key pharmacy network in Poland. "We constantly strive for the widespread popularization of telemedicine technology. Our partnership with the pharmacy network in Poland will allow us to present the latest and effective technological solutions to a wide range of patients," comments Edyta Kocyk, CEO of SiDLY.
According to Skyquest data, the telemedicine market is expected to grow dynamically. It was estimated to be worth $102 billion in 2022. Additionally, it is predicted that the compound annual growth rate will remain very high at 17.5%, at least until 2031.
